Congratulations with Successful NY Peace March and Rally which took place on  May 27th, 2023 at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, next to headquarters of UN in New York City.

This initiative is an extension of a successful march in Haiti in December of 2022 led by Bishop Lubin Moise that promoted peace in Haiti and between violent gangs.
Also check out the petition to the United Nations to establish a memorial to honor the victims of conflicts around the world, including the armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia and the civil conflict in Haiti.

On November 23rd, 2022, at a time of extreme volatility in Haiti, with gangs blocking streets and ports and all schools closed due to violence, he went to Port-au-Prince with a plan to help bring its leadership together to bring peace in a very volatile situation. Bishop Moise met with media groups and political, religious, and civic leaders.

The trip was a great success. By the time Bishop Moise returned, the country was back to normal with ports and schools open. The trip culminated in two regional Peace Marches first in Port-au-Prince and second in Carrefour.

Bishop Moise has lost 70% of his eyesight In the last few years. Despite this challenge and danger of traveling to Haiti due to ongoing instability and violence, he is still determined to continue his mission trips and see this beautiful country restored and its long-suffering end.
